Taste of the Blackwood is a fantastic new event presented by Taste of Balingup in partnership with the Blackwood Valley Wine Industry Association (www.blackwoodvalleywine.asn.au)

The event will be held over two days at the Bridgetown Town Hall between 10am and 4pm each day.

Apart from Wine Tastings and Sales, you might like to take part in bottling your own wine from Barrel to Bottle – an opportunity offered by Wattle Ridge Wines, Jim and Vicky Henderson, to bottle and take home some of their delightful 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon.  At Midday and 2pm on both days Pat Corrigan of The Bridgetown Cidery and Caroline Hume of Tanglewood Wines will provide a presentation of What are you drinking?  – An explanation of wines, what to expect when you taste a wine and many other helpful tips to help you understand and enjoy the fruit of the vine.
